Safer Internet Day 2026 was observed today at the DC Conference Hall, Changlang, with active participation from all Heads of Departments and district officers and staff. The programme aimed to promote safe, responsible, and wise use of the internet in both personal and professional life.

The programme was held under the leadership of the Deputy Commissioner, Changlang, who emphasized the growing importance of digital safety in today’s connected world. He highlighted the need for cyber awareness, data protection, and ethical online behaviour, especially while using government digital platforms and social media.

The District Informatics Officer (DIO), Changlang, delivered an informative session on internet safety. Officers and staff were encouraged to remain vigilant and adopt best cyber practices at all times.
