Nasha Mukt Changlang is an initiative under ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan’ of Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India.
It seeks to make a drugs free society in Changlang where youth and women are able to realise their full potential. Nasha Mukt Changlang – harnesses potential of community in bring about change by organising community level clinics to treat addicts and ensure supply reduction in coordination with Police & women SHGs. So far, 14 villages have been declared 100% drugs free and provided various livelihood activities like Piggery and Poultry units, Handloom training, bio floc fishery, etc. Youths have been engaged through sports & youth clubs in every targeted village to ensure their energy channelized in positive direction.
We wish to make a drugs free Changlang with collective effort of Team Changlang.
