iRAD Project Training for Police Department at Changlang

The iRAD (Integrated Road Accident Database) Project Training for the Police Department was successfully conducted on 29th August 2025 at the DC Conference Hall, Changlang.
The training session was conducted in the presence of District Informatics Officer (DIO) Shri Shiva Ram Krishna, along with all the Officer-in-Charges (OCs) and Investigating Officers (IOs) of various police stations under Changlang District.
At the outset, the DIO, Shri Shiva Ram Krishna, briefed the participants with an overview of the iRAD Project, highlighting its objectives, benefits, and role in improving road safety through digital data management.
The technical training was imparted by Master Trainer, District Road Manager (DRM) Shri Dongchu Taidong, who explained the features and functionalities of the iRAD platform. The participants were trained on proper data entry, accident reporting procedures, and the importance of accurate information in ensuring effective road safety management.
The session concluded with an interactive question-and-answer round, during which the queries raised by the OCs and IOs were addressed by the DIO and the DRM, ensuring clarity on the operational aspects of the iRAD application.
The primary objective of the program was to build the capacity of police officials in using the iRAD application for systematic collection, analysis, and reporting of road accident data, thereby contributing to evidence-based policymaking and preventive measures for road safety.
The program concluded successfully with active participation from all attendees.
