COVID-19 vaccination programme “Tika Maha Abhiyan” launched in Changlang district

On Monday, June 21, 2021, COVID-19 vaccination programme, the “Tika Maha Abhiyan” launched in Changlang district – an initiative to administer coronavirus vaccine free of cost to everyone above 18 years of age in the next few months. The Tika Maha Abhiyan have been launched at all the administrative headquarters of Changlang district.

The registration system has already been simplified for the programme. This includes self-registration, on-site registration, special session for persons without prescribed identity cards, especially in rural areas without internet connectivity. Time to time mobile vaccination teams have been deployed to conducting vaccination sessions in very sparsely populated and high-risk areas.
