APSCW conducted one day legal awareness programme In Changlang District

Changlang, November 17, 2021: One day Legal Awareness program on domestic violence, crime against women, drug abuse among youths and property rights for daughters in context of Arunachal Pradesh was conducted at Changlang district head quarter by Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Women in collaboration with NGO Karuna Trust, District Administration and ICDS Department.
The awareness programme was conducted amidst a mammoth gathering of CBOS, PRI Leaders, Ex PRI Leaders, Women Self Help Groups, NGOS, Gaon Burahs, Government Departments and Students.
The programme was started with lighting the ceremony lamp by APSCW Chairperson Smti Redhill Chai Techi resource person of the programme followed DC Changlang Dr Devansh Yadav, SP Changlang Mihin Gambo, Smti Komoli Mossang Chairperson RKMMS Jairampur, Smti Marina Kenglang Ex ZPC, Smti Bunnem Tangha Centre Administrator One Stop Centre, Advocate Gulley Sumnyam.
The APSCW Chair Person, DC Changlang, SP Changlang, Chair Person RKMMS and others gave detailed presentation on the Topics. The members of the APSCW smti Techi Hunmai spoke on role on Women Commission and legal outreach programmes conducted all over the state while the Chairperson APSCW Smti Radhilu Chai Techi addressed the gathering with her motivating speech on Women and Child Rights, legal provisions for protection of Women and Children with special emphasis on the Property Rights for women in context of Arunachal Pradesh.
The Program concluded with an interactive session with the Participants and vote of Thanks by EAC Hq Dr Rani Mibang.
