Apprenticeship Workshop Held at Namdapha Degree College, Miao

A one-day Apprenticeship Workshop aimed at promoting apprenticeship opportunities among young entrepreneurs and aspiring business leaders was successfully conducted at Namdapha Degree College, Miao, in Changlang district on March 16.

The programme was organized by the Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship in association with the Regional Directorate of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and was managed by NE Brothers Ent. Pvt. Ltd..

The workshop focused on creating awareness among young entrepreneurs, start-up aspirants, and self-employment seekers about the benefits of engaging with apprenticeship programmes. Resource persons highlighted how apprenticeship initiatives can help entrepreneurs build a skilled workforce, enhance productivity, and gain valuable hands-on industry exposure—key factors for the growth of small and emerging enterprises.

More than 60 participants, including over 25 entrepreneurs, entrepreneurship aspirants, and students, attended the programme. The sessions witnessed active interaction between trainees and trainers, enabling participants to gain a comprehensive understanding of apprenticeship training, its scope, and the procedures for enrolment under various schemes.

The initiative is expected to significantly enhance awareness about skill development opportunities among youth, particularly in Changlang district and Miao sub-division, and encourage greater participation in apprenticeship-based training programmes.
