The third edition Christmas Cricket Tournament 2021 held at Yatdam Circle

Changlang, December 10, 2021: The final leg of third Edition Christmas Cricket Tournament was held at Yatdam Circle, which was organized by Jongrom Youth Development Committee. The tournament concludes on December 10, 2021 and Hon’ble Deputy Speaker Tesam Pongte APLA graced as Chief Guest in the programme and gave away the prize to the winner team.
The Hon’ble Deputy Speaker APLA Shri Tesam Pongte along with SP Changlang Mihin Gambo, Commandant 9 Assam Rifle and Circle Officer Yatdam attended the final Match of third edition Christmas Cricket tournament being played at Jongrom General Ground Yatdam Circle on December 10, 2021. The tournament was organised by Jongrom Youth Development Committee with the motto – “say no to drugs”. 23 teams participated in the tournament and final match was played between Khuchep and Royal Kanglom Brothers where the former defeated the later by 83 runs.
In his speech, Hon’ble Deputy Speaker APLA lauded the organizers for conducting such Sports Events, urged the players to stay away from drugs and other addictive substances, keep oneself busy in games and sports for a healthy mind, and fit body. As a Leader, he always encouraged, gave priority to games and sports in his capacity, and had constructed Sports Infrastructure including Play Grounds in almost all the villages of his constituency. He urged the youth to excel in games and bring laurels to the state by participating in national and international tournaments. He further assured to provide his assistance in every possible way for such fitness related events in near future too.
