Foot Operated Hand sanitizer Dispensers installed at Jairampur and Nampong

Changlang, May 13, 2020: On the guidance of Local MLA, Nampong Assembly Constituency Shri Laisam Simai and supervision of ADC Jairampur, the department of Urban Development and Housing, Jairampur in collaboration with PHED Sub-Division, Nampong have installed six numbers of foot operated hand sanitizer Dispensers at various locations at Jairampur and Nampong.

As part of initiative to contain the spread of COVID-19 pandemic, these sanitizer Dispensers were installed at Primary Health Centre Nampong, APP Check gate Jairampur, State Bank of India Jairampur, Community Health Centre Jairampur, ADC Office Jairampur and Sports Complex Facility Quarantine Centre at Terit Nagar Jairampur.

While launching these foot operated hand sanitizer Dispensers on May 13, 2020, local MLA lauded the efforts of all stakeholders including health workers, police personnel and various In-charges of designated Facility Quarantine Centre in the locality in fighting against the Coronavirus pandemic. The Foot operated Hand Sanitizer Dispensers were launched in presence of ADC Jairampur Shri Ibom Tao, Executive Engineer UD&H Shri George Joseph, AE PHED, other officials and publics. He also visited the designated facility Quarantine Centres and interacted with the quarantined persons. After interacting, he was expressed satisfaction with the arrangements after patiently hearing them.

He appreciated the departments for quick response and immediate installation of Foot operated hand sanitizer Dispensers at various vulnerable locations thereby contributing for combating the possible spread of Covid-19 Pandemic.
