Changlang District Health Society convenes 4th DTFI Meeting & Workshop on NID-2020

Changlang, January 17, 2020: The fourth District Task force for Immunization meeting and workshop on NID-2020 was convened by District Health Society, Changlang on January 17, 2020 under Chairmanship of R.K Sharma, DC Cum Chairman DHS Changlang with the participation of Medical officers & Health functionaries from Changlang Hq, Miao, Jairampur, Diyun, Manmao, Namtok, and Yatdam CHCs & PHCs. The DMO Changlang Dr C.L Manchey addressed all participants about the significance of the IPPI Program and stressed on regular AFP (Acute Flaccid Paralysis) cases reporting to be done on regular basis from respective Health Facilities. Meanwhile, Dr Jumnya Ado, DRCHO, gave a detailed presentation on review of IPPI 1st round 2019 with 97% achievement status, Facility wise IPPI Micro plan – 2020 & Performance status of Routine Immunization w.e.f. April to December 2019. The NID (IPPI) Program for Changlang district is scheduled to be started from January 19 to 21, 2020 with a total target of around 14800 Children under 0-5 years of age to be covered under 225 IPPI Booths, which would also include remote Vijoynagar Circle under Miao Subdivision this year. Thereafter ASHAs in all Health facilities would be engaged in House to House Visits. The DC cum Chairman exhorted the Health Department to work towards achieving cent percent target in ensuing exercise by overcoming all hurdles with concerted efforts and assured to extend all possible cooperation for smooth conduct of the Program.
