5th International Yoga Day observed at Changlang

Changlang, June 21, 2019: Changlang District Headquarters observed “5th International Yoga Day” here at the Multipurpose Cultural Hall and Changlang Helipad in a befitting manner. At the Multipurpose Cultural Hall, the instructors from VKV School Changlang and Arts of Living supervised the Yoga session. The Principal VKV School, Changlang highlighted the importance of Yoga in our daily life and objective of the day for practicing yoga on daily basis to stay healthy.

The programme started at 0700 hrs in the morning where many people have participated including the hon’ble Deputy Speaker Arunachal Legislative Assembly Shri Tesam Pongte among other government officials, teachers, students, members of NGOs and other citizens from various corners. The Yoga session was lasted for about an hour in the Multipurpose Cultural Hall to mark the day. In concluding session, hon’ble Deputy Speaker highlighted the significant and importance of Yoga in our daily life.

Moreover, another session of Yoga was held at Changlang Helipad by security personnel, viz., Changlang Police, Assam Rifles, students and others.
