Major Activities:

• Deen Dayal Upadhaya Gram Vidyutikaran Yojana (DDUGJY): This was an extended programme to reinforce the earlier scheme RGGVY which was subsumed and re-Christian into DDUGJY which is mainly targeted to electrify un-electrified Rural villages in Changlang District and is almost in a stage of near completion with below furnished statics:
  1. BPL household target – 297 Nos
  2. 11 KV line constructed – 69.44 Kms
  3. LT line constructed – 1.2 Kms
  4. Distribution Transformer: 24 Nos.
• Sahaj Har Ghar Bijlee Yojana (SAUBHAGYA): This is also an ambitious universal household electrification programme launched by GOI targeted to electrify every un-electrified household encompassing Urban & Rural Household feasible through GRID connectivity with certain criteria which is likely to be implemented in Changlang District very shortly and mandatorily to be completed by 31st December 2018 as per below mentioned tentative target.
